The retro fashion is making a comeback, yet technology is progressing! The retro fashion is making a comeback, yet technology is progressing! For about 30 years, fashion and technology have intersected, timidly at first, as a whim of young dreamers in what was a complex and incomprehensible future at the time. Music, especially music, has been the muse of creation in these areas. Remember the audio tapes – those 40, 90 or 180 minutes tapes, which now sit abandoned in some old musty drawers? They made it rough for you when their tape was all curled up in the tape recorder or in the walkman... Yes, a walkman! Invented in the late 1970s, it was a rather cumbersome box, though smaller in size than the cassette recorder, and it hanged unaesthetically on your belt or pockets. Then the CD-players... Ah, the time you could listen 80 minutes of your favorite music... and get angry when the CD began skipping!

Today's trend in music players complicates simplification. On the multitude of mp3/ mp4 players, the Apple iPod Touch of 16GB is certainly among the best performing devices of its kind. Forget the classic batteries that ended when listening to an audio cassette or CD! Now you have a rechargeable (USB) lithium polymer battery, so you can enjoy 22 hours of music and 5 hours of video (wow!). You have the possibility to store thousands of tracks, dozens of videos and/ or movies.

The design of the iPod is minimalist, the buttons have been "forgotten" in favor of the touch screen option, which means you have to use your fingers or a joystick to navigate the menu. Apple’s discrete headphones are the right accessory for this device that weights just 120 grams. In addition, you can match your iPod on any occasion and with any clothing, whether you're jogging, cycling, street walking, having lunch breaks, or sipping hot beverages at the coffee shop.
